Morgan McMahon is a Manhattan-based visual artist and dancer. Within her studio apartment in 2020, @glasswarelounge was created. She primarily works with black-light reactive gel-pens and many different paper types and textures. Her main concepts include intricate line patterns, colorful grids, and angular shapes in space. Through unique 2D perspectives paired with contrasting colors, she achieves distant focal points in her works. Morgan draws on her floor at home to have an over head point-of-view, and to access all sides of the paper while drawing. She finds inspiration in architectural details, squares and illusions of depth.
